We are proud to present MaildomeMTA, designed, developed, and implemented entirely by our team of email marketing experts. Our relentless pursuit of perfection and quality, the desire to create something different and high-performing, but above all, effective in every situation, has led us to create a product that has no equal in its kind.
After over twelve years of experience in Email Marketing, in the use of tools and services for sending email communications, we had come to the conclusion that the implementation of a proprietary technological solution had become indispensable.
Due to the evolution of Email Marketing and changes in the analysis logic of provider communications in recent years, Open Source and Commercial solutions were no longer responding appropriately to all the technical specifications necessary to ensure optimal levels of deliverability.
Our development team spent months benchmarking and testing Open Source solutions such as Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, Qmail, as well as paid MTA solutions. Unfortunately, the result was always the same: in countless situations, we found ourselves facing real dead ends.
"With these solutions, we will not be able to guarantee anything different from all our competitors. None of these solutions really meet our needs!
Our company's mission is different; we want and must provide a different product, a product of extreme quality capable of adapting to all conditions, configurations, and reception logics of the various recipient ISPs."
All these considerations did not allow us to compromise. Therefore, our response was this:
"We must create our Mail Transfer Agent: only in this way could we have the maximum flexibility and customization, and offer our customers a product that knows how to meet all the needs of the domains present in their Customer Base"
The only solution was to develop, implement, and thus create a proprietary Mail Transfer Agent (MTA).
Of course, we could have created a "Standard" service, as many sending platforms have done, but the relentless pursuit of perfection and quality, the desire to create something different and more performant, but above all, valid in every situation, pushed us to take this step.
After a feasibility study and a technical analysis of the languages to use for the implementation, structuring of modules, and design of the entire infrastructure, we decided to bring this project to life, with the aim of providing a tool capable of adapting to all the needs of the various email service providers.
In the three years of Development, Testing & Debugging, we found that many ISPs did not and still do not comply with the standards imposed by the SMTP protocol and its related RFCs.
Many Open Source and commercial solutions have and will always have great difficulty delivering email communications to those who do not respect the protocol.
Thanks to the specific study of over 11,000 configuration situations and unique different domains, we were able to create a cutting-edge product: MaildomeMTA, which has allowed us to achieve, in cases of good reputation of sending domains and IPs, a delivery rate of 99.9%.
After over three years of development on a proprietary solution for sending email, we can say that we have created a product capable of guaranteeing performance that no other in the same category can boast.
Our MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) is not only a product designed to achieve very high sending volumes, but above all to adapt extremely specifically to each individual configuration of receiving servers, to each individual logic of blocking or blacklisting of third-party products implemented on the receiving server, such as Cloudmark, Proofpoint, and many others.

The engine of our MTA has over 5000 operational routines capable of performing all the operations necessary for sending an email communication. The most important aspect that makes our product unique in its kind worldwide is the dynamic and intelligent behavioral adaptation towards all receiving ISPs.
The engine of MaildomeMTA is constantly evolving, and thanks to self-learning logics, it is able to always keep up with the continuous changes and technological adjustments implemented by providers, from the largest and most important to the smallest often overlooked by Open Source solutions.
